■ Required Documents for New Appointments

[1] One copy of your CV or résumé
No prescribed format.

[2] One copy of your final degree certificate
Please submit a doctoral degree certificate. Applicants expecting to graduate may submit a certificate of expected graduation.

[3] One copy of a certificate of employment or professional experience
No prescribed format.

[4] Supporting documentation for research achievements
Applicants must have published at least one article related to their field in a domestic academic journal indexed by the Korea Citation Index (KCI), as the sole author or first author, or presented at least one paper at an international academic conference.

Please submit supporting documentation verifying the publication or presentation. Documentation proving participation in a research project may also be submitted.

[5] One copy of a certificate of employment
Required only if you are currently affiliated with another institution.

[6] One copy of your resident registration record
Please submit a version displaying the full resident registration number, including the last seven digits.

This document is required only if you are affiliated with another institution. Part-time lecturers at other universities are exempt. Part-time lecturers at Seoul National University are required to submit this document.

[5] Research output or supporting documentation from the past year that lists the Education Research Institute Seoul National University as your affiliation
Examples include journal articles, books, and research reports.

※ Applicants must obtain the recommender’s signature on the recommendation letter directly.

※ Applicants who are currently employed must submit both a certificate of employment and a consent form for concurrent employment.

※ Appointments are generally made for one year. However, the appointment period cannot exceed the concurrent employment period approved by the applicant’s current institution.

Applicants seeking a one-year appointment must obtain approval for concurrent employment for at least one year.
