안녕하세요.
서울대학교 교육연구소에서 2026년 7월 9일(목)과 10일(금) 양일간 주최하는 The 26th International Conference on Education Research(ICER)에 초대합니다.

이번 ICER 2026는 “Education Research for the ‘Post-’ World: Multiple Interpretations and Methodologies”라는 주제로, 오늘날 교육 연구에서 ‘포스트-’가 무엇을 의미하는지, 또 ‘포스트-’ 세계의 교육과 그 주체를 이해하기 위한 어떠한 방법론적 도전과 혁신이 필요한지에 대해 논의하고자 합니다.

교육 연구의 현재와 미래를 함께 재사유고자 하는 연구자와 학생 여러분의 많은 관심과 참여를 부탁드립니다.
더불어, '압축적 근대성'에 대한 이론화 작업으로 국제적인 명성을 지니고 계신 장경섭 서울대 석좌교수님께서도 기조강연로 함께해 주십니다. "Education, educationalization, and compressed modernity"의 주제로 첫째날 기조강연이 이루어지니 많은 관심 부탁드립니다.

Dear Colleagues,

On behalf of the Education Research Institute at Seoul National University, we are pleased to invite you to The 26th International Conference on Education Research (ICER), which will be held on Thursday, July 9 and Friday, July 10, 2026.


Under the theme “Education Research for the ‘Post-’ World: Multiple Interpretations and Methodologies,” ICER 2026 will explore the meanings of “post-” in contemporary education research and examine the methodological challenges and innovations required to understand education and its subjects in the “post-” world.


We sincerely welcome the interest and participation of researchers and students who wish to join us in reflecting on the present and future of education research.

We are also pleased to announce that Professor Kyung-Sup Chang, author of the impressive book series “Compressed Modernity and South Korea”, will deliver the opening keynote for Day 1 (9th July, 9:30-11:50).
